Mind Control for Martial Arts

ARE YOU A MARTIAL ARTIST?

As some of you may have read on my website, I was semi-introduced to the techniques of mind control and self-improvement through martial arts. I saw a course advertised claiming that it would help you excel and achieve rankings at an unusual and amazing rate of speed. In those days of karate and kickboxing, it could take years to achieve the gradings.

Well, I was interested and so enrolled. To tell you the truth, when I actually arrived at the seminar, I was a little sceptical – but we were asked to keep an open mind, follow and stick to the teachings. I committed to this, and well, I can only describe my progress as amazing. In one of my first training sessions afterwards I literally kicked my training partner across the room and he fell against the wall and to the floor!  I was convinced and so kept using the techniques, spreading them into all areas of my training. I began to improve quickly. I began to get noticed. I got more confident.

All of this is a positive circle that grows momentum and before I knew it I was taking my senior gradings, was a member of the fight squad and assistant instructor!  I went on to fight muay-Thai at the national level, fighting for titles and winning the WMTO English Title at 72.5kg.

I learned that already in years gone by, there were elite fighters utilising these powers to take their game to the next level and obtain the edge over their competition.

In the USA, the greatest boxer ever Muhammad Ali used hypnosis after finding out that his opponent Ken Norton had used it (winning the fight and breaking his jaw). Also as famous, Mike Tyson received direct coaching from who I deemed was a ‘natural NLP coach’, the legendary Cus D-amato.

While across the water in the UK, various fighters, namely Nigel Benn and Steve Collins admitted to the assistance of popular hypnotherapist Paul McKenna in helping them in different ways – achieving razor focus and aiding their success in the ring.

More recently, in the sport of MMA (mixed martial arts) names like Meisha Tate and Chael Sonnen have spoken out about the benefits of receiving such supplementary training to the mind, and now at the time of writing this article, no other than the notorious Conor McGregor is the latest addition to the above after publically stating that he had received coaching from world-renowned coach Tony Robbins – even claiming that he is actually ‘part of his team’ now.

January 2020, McGregor beat the success and famed ‘Cowboy’ in a 40-second shocking knockout, setting a new record of finishing fights across 3 weight divisions. Donald, his opponent, said after the fight ‘I have never felt or seen anything like this.’ (This reminded me of my own experience all those years ago when I kicked the guy across the room!)

I am so happy for both Conor and Tony as having been a ring-fighter and being a life coach, I know how hard both of them will have worked to turn around McGregor’s career and I believe that they will now go on to build an even more respected living legend in the martial arts arena – and maybe even outside of it.
